“We have started striking Iran.” US response to the shooting of the helicopter

More information soon.
As indicated in the CENTCOM statement, “the mission is a proportionate response to Iran's unjustified aggression.” However, the details of this attack have not been disclosed so far.
Earlier, US President Donald Trump announced that Iran was responsible for shooting down an Apache helicopter over the Strait of Hormuz on Monday. He declared that the US “must respond” to this attack.
Both Apache crew members were rescued by a U.S. Navy maritime drone, which fished them out of the water about two hours after being shot down. The soldiers were transported to the coast of Oman.
It was the first Apache helicopter lost in the US-Israeli war against Iran, which has been ongoing since late February. So far, the American military has lost about 30 unmanned aerial vehicles and several fighter jets.
On Monday night, Trump, commenting on the still unexplained helicopter crash, argued that he was very close to an agreement with Iran. He estimated that this could happen within two or three days.
