Trump announces that the US is “very strongly” resuming the bombing of Iran. The American president, taken out of the jumps: “They are making fun of us”

US President Donald Trump announced on Wednesday the resumption of airstrikes against Iran, following the downing of an American Apache helicopter and the delay in concluding a peace agreement in negotiations with Tehran, international press agencies inform.
“We attacked them very hard yesterday, we will attack them again very hard today (…), we are resuming the bombings,” said Trump, in front of the press, in the Oval Office.
The resumption of the bombings, even from Wednesday, after new attacks were already carried out also on Tuesday, follows both the downing of the Apache helicopter in the Strait of Hormuz and the evolution of the negotiations for a peace agreement with Tehran, argued the leader of the White House, who did not rule out hitting some Iranian power plants, notes Agerpres.
“We have the right to do it (to attack, no). You already know, they shot down (the Apache helicopter, no) an incredible machine, really incredible. And initially they said they didn't do it, but then they admitted,” he said of the Apache AH-64 helicopter, whose crew of two soldiers was rescued.
“We were really close to a deal, but they keep trying to fool us, they're making fun of us,” the US president said.
“We want a substantial agreement, an agreement that works,” the White House leader insisted.
According to Trump, Iran has agreed to pledge that it will not pursue a nuclear weapon, but the agreement remains unsigned.
