The president referred to the storm surrounding the “Nowrocky” brand. “I borrowed the T-shirt from a photographer”
During the Winter Games, Karol Nawrocki met with Polish athletes. He was wearing a T-shirt with the words “Nowrocky” in red and white. A brand with this name has recently been widely promoted online, and the president likes to wear clothes with a characteristic inscription. However, he denies reports that he promotes private business. He also emphasized this in the Polsat News program. He recalled that the “Nowrocky” brand accompanied him during the presidential election campaign and that he “feels emotionally attached to it.” He explained the fact that this was the shirt he was wearing during the games as accidental.

Karol Nawrocki: my sister took pity on me
Nawrocki emphasized in “Romanowski's Breakfast” that he willingly wears clothes and accessories of Polish brands, which does not mean that he receives any financial benefits from it. It is similar – as he said – with the “Nowrocky” brand. The president admitted that the rights to the trademark are in the hands of his sister, but – as he emphasized – there are no financial relations or earnings associated with it. According to him, this was to protect his image and prevent the logo from being used in contexts with which he would not like to be identified as president. “My sister took pity on me,” he said in the program.
The president revealed that he borrowed a T-shirt and a cap with the inscription “Nowrocky” from a photographer. — I just put this T-shirt on. If my photographer Mikołaj Bujak had a different one, I would probably wear another one. However, I borrowed a T-shirt and a hat from him because he had one and I was wearing official clothes. If it were a different brand, but Polish, I would use another one – he said on Polsat News.
Karol Nawrocki uses clothes with this inscription on less formal occasions. He was wearing such clothes, among others. at the Ski Jumping World Cup in Zakopane. He also wears it while training at the gym – according to photos posted on social media.
