The psychologist explained why other people's travels on social networks spoil the impression of the summer

Watching other people's travels on social networks can create the feeling that your own life is not going well enough. Psychologist Ekaterina Fedorova told RIA Novosti about this.

According to the specialist, photographs and videos from trips are often perceived as an image of “real” living life. Against this background, a person may feel that his own summer is not going well, even if it is filled with things to do and activities.

The psychologist added that an important part of the summer can be not only the trip itself, but also its planning. People prepare for the trip in advance, look forward to it and get emotions from it. However, if a trip or adventure ends up not happening, a person may be left with a bad feeling about the entire season.

At the same time, according to Fedorova, not everyone is ready for bright adventures in reality. Sometimes external circumstances interfere with this, so comparing your life with other people's publications on social networks can only increase disappointment.
