The Krasnoyarsk Interdistrict Hospital No. 2 brought new portable apparatuses of artificial lung ventilation, the Ministry of Health said.
The new equipment was handed over to the department of field patronage palliative medical care of the Krasnoyarsk inter -district hospital No. 2. 24 modern artificial ventilation apparatus will be used to provide specialized assistance to patients who need long -term respiratory support on an outpatient basis. The devices were purchased at the expense of the regional and federal budgets. The total cost of equipment amounted to 20 million rubles.
The Ministry of Health notes that the purchased devices are portable. This will ensure effective medical care to patients with severe chronic diseases that are not in the hospital. Ilt devices will improve the quality of his assistance, increase its availability and provide comfort for patients and members of their families.
The devices have already entered the department and will be used during patronage of patients on an outpatient basis. New equipment will become an additional resource for improving the quality of life of terminally patients who have the need for long -term use of IVL devices at home.
