In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the results of the regional stage of the All-Russian competition of professional skills “Best in Profession” were summed up. This was reported by the regional labor and employment agency.

The competition took place at the Krasnoyarsk College of Welding Technologies and Energy. Participants took theoretical and practical parts. The first tested knowledge of welding, labor protection and safety precautions. In the second, the competitors had to weld two samples in 90 minutes according to drawings and technological maps.

The best result was shown by Anton Divakov from Transneft Western Siberia JSC. Roman Garin from the same company took second place. The third place was taken by Mikhail Puzanov from BTS Krasnoyarsk LLC. All winners represent Krasnoyarsk. “Best in Profession” is held within the framework of the national project “Personnel”. According to the deputy head of the regional labor and employment agency, Sergei Selyunin, the competition helps promote in-demand blue-collar professions.

He noted that the employment service now offers more than 1 thousand vacancies for welders. This confirms the steady demand for such specialists in the region. The winners will be awarded on June 26 in Krasnoyarsk at the All-Russian Employment Fair “Russian Work. Time of opportunity.”

The winner of the regional stage will represent the Krasnoyarsk Territory at the federal stage of the competition in Perm.
