Orlen raised wholesale fuel prices on Tuesday. The price of petrol and diesel oil has increased

On Tuesday, Orlen increased wholesale prices of unleaded Eurosuper 95 petrol by PLN 32, which means that it costs PLN 5,000 today. PLN 221 per cubic meter. In turn, Super Plus 98 unleaded petrol costs PLN 5,000. PLN 824 per cubic meter, i.e. PLN 39 more, while Ekodiesel diesel costs PLN 5,000. PLN 682 per cubic meter, which means an increase of PLN 8 compared to the previously agreed price. This is according to data published by the company.

On Saturday, Orlen fuel prices were lower
During the weekend and on Monday, wholesale prices of Orlen fuels were lower after the latest rates were announced on Saturday, June 6. On that day, Orlen reduced wholesale prices of all fuels, including Eurosuper 95 unleaded gasoline, by PLN 70, to PLN 5,000. PLN 189 per cubic meter, Super Plus 98 unleaded petrol by PLN 52, up to PLN 5,000. PLN 785 per cubic meter, and Ekodiesel diesel oil by PLN 24, to PLN 5,000. PLN 674 per cubic meter.
From March 31, all stations in Poland have maximum fuel prices, temporarily introduced as part of the government's regulatory package “Fuel Prices Lower”, which is intended to limit the increase in prices of these products. They are determined on the basis of the average wholesale price of fuel on the domestic market, plus excise duty, fuel fee, as well as sales margin and VAT.

According to the latest announcement of the Minister of Energy on maximum fuel prices, on Tuesday at stations, a liter of unleaded 95 petrol costs no more than PLN 5.93, unleaded 98 petrol – PLN 6.57, and diesel oil – PLN 6.45.
According to the government regulation, lower VAT and excise duty rates on fuels as part of the “Fuel Prices Lower” package will be valid until June 15. This means a simultaneous extension of the maximum fuel prices at stations, announced, as currently, by announcement, until then. According to the previously introduced regulations of the “Fuel Prices Lower” package, reduced VAT and excise duty rates were valid until May 15, and then extended until May 31.
Oil prices fell on Tuesday after Israel and Iran agreed to stop attacking each other, according to brokers. A barrel of WTI crude oil for July delivery is priced at $90.19 on the NYMEX in New York. — a decrease of 1.22%, while a barrel of Brent crude oil on the ICE exchange for August deliveries is quoted at USD 93.43. — decrease by 0.87 percent
