In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the water supply system, which has been operating since 1962, will be repaired

In Novoselovo, the utility company was ordered to overhaul a section of the water pipeline that has been in operation since 1962. The prosecutor's office of the Krasnoyarsk region reported this.

We are talking about a pipe 104 meters long. Through it, water flows from the water intake into the water supply system of the entire village. The prosecutor's inspection showed that the site is municipal property and was leased to the regional enterprise “Center for Development of the Communal Complex”.

Over decades of operation, the pipeline has actually exhausted its service life. Its condition creates the risk of an accident, which could leave more than 5 thousand residents of Novoselovo and over 17 social facilities without water. Among them are schools, kindergartens, medical institutions and other organizations.

In addition, interruptions in water supply can affect the operation of a rural boiler house and create problems during the heating season. The prosecutor's office went to court because the owner and tenant of the network did not take measures to repair the site.

The court supported the demands of the supervisory agency and ordered the company to carry out a major overhaul of the water supply within 1.5 years. The implementation of the decision is under the control of the prosecutor's office.
