In Krasnoyarsk, a man was sentenced for more than two years of raping, torturing and threatening to kill his young stepdaughter. This was reported by the joint press service of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Court.
The man committed crimes from December 2022 to May 2025, when his wife was on daily duty. After the sexual assault, the stepfather took a knife, put it to the girl’s neck and promised to take her into the forest and kill her if she told anyone. He also threatened to kill the entire family and the cat. The child was so afraid that he was silent all this time.
In court, the man fully admitted his guilt, confirmed all the circumstances and repented. The Leninsky District Court sentenced him to 17 years of imprisonment in a maximum security colony, as well as restriction of freedom for another year and a half after his release. In addition, the convicted person was forced to undergo compulsory treatment from a psychiatrist at the place where he was serving his sentence. The verdict has not yet entered into legal force.
