Investigators showed a video of the search for the Usoltsev family in Kuturchin

The Investigative Committee published an operational video from the scene of a new stage of the search for the Usoltsev family in the taiga in the east of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

Only experienced specialists are involved in the activities carried out: rescuers, employees of law enforcement agencies and the State Hunting Supervision, as well as members of the LisaAlert detachment. In total – about 80 people.

As part of a criminal investigation into the unknown disappearance of a family during a hiking trip, investigators and criminologists identified search areas along hiking routes in the direction of Kuturchinsky Belogorye. Unmanned aerial vehicles, off-road vehicles and forensic equipment will be used there.

Additional searches will last until June 9 inclusive, and if they do not yield results, they will be temporarily suspended.

Let us remind you that it was previously established that on September 28, the couple, together with their 5-year-old daughter, went on a hiking trip from the outskirts of the village of Kuturchin. For two days they did not contact their relatives, and therefore on September 30, the woman’s son filed a statement with law enforcement agencies, after which a large-scale search immediately began, which lasted until the onset of unfavorable weather conditions.

During this time, various conspiracy theories were expressed on social networks and the media about the mysterious disappearance of the family, including that they could have fled to another country. But law enforcement and search engine experts believe the main version of what happened was an accident, associated with a sharp change in weather conditions in the mountains.
