On “State Services” you can complain about marketplaces

30 May 16:40

Rospotrebnadzor, together with the Ministry of Digital Development of Russia, is starting an experiment to create an electronic book of complaints on the Gosuslugi platform.

This innovation is aimed at protecting consumer rights and is being implemented within the framework of the federal project “State for People,” reports the press service of Rospotrebnadzor.

“The initiative will allow citizens to resolve typical problems that arise between them and sellers (performers) online in a pre-trial manner. Consumers will be able to report problems with goods of good quality purchased on the Ozon and Wildberries marketplaces. The response from the owner of the aggregator will be sent to the user’s personal account,” the department explains.

You are encouraged to submit an appeal if problems such as:

  • refusal to return the goods within 7 days after purchase if the return conditions are met (sales condition is preserved, the goods have not been used);
  • refusal to refund the cost of the product if it is returned within 7 days after purchase;
  • The refund period for a canceled order has been exceeded.

To submit an application to the State Services, you can use the form via the link or on the Rospotrebnadzor website.

Review of applications will take up to 7 calendar days.
