Adam Szłapka reminded that it is a HoReCa program.
“We know very well what causes this difficult situation. The program was prepared in 2021 by the previous government and was to be support for entrepreneurs after Pandemic,” said Szłapka, pointing out that the problem is that the current “government had little time for this program”.

“If he could come into force earlier, and not only in December 2023. I think we would be in a different situation,” he said.

During a press conference, a spokesman for government Adam Szłapka also referred to speculation about changes in the government that the scandal around KPO may cause. It is speculated that the minister of funds and regional policy Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz may lose his position.
“At the very meeting of the Council of Ministers, the Prime Minister did not make any decisions,” said Szłapka.
“If he has any personal decision in this matter to be announced, he will announce it. For now, there is no such decision,” said the spokesman for the government.
