Telecom operator Beeline has modernized equipment in 9 settlements of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, including small villages with a population of up to 500 people, and relatively large urban settlements.
The modernization made it possible to launch Beeline communications immediately in 4G format where the operator did not previously provide its services, or to “upgrade” it to 4G if previously only 2G and 3G were available. The new communication format gives local residents access to modern services based on high-speed mobile Internet and will improve the quality of life of the population.
The operator's technical specialists have upgraded base stations to 4G in the following localities:
- Severo-Yeniseisky village
- With. Big Tele
- With. Mezhovo
- Podgorny village
- With. Dorokhovo
- With. Astafievka
- village of Novonikolsk
- Ermolaevo village
- With. Kulun
Now, on the Beeline network, local residents have the opportunity to watch videos and listen to music online, stay in touch with loved ones thanks to instant messengers and social networks, quickly transfer funds, pay taxes online, and receive government services.
“The launch of 4G in small settlements is, first of all, an investment in the comfortable life of people. Online learning, telemedicine and government services, thanks to high-speed mobile Internet, are no longer a privilege of large cities and are becoming the norm for users even in small and isolated villages. Our task as a telecom operator is to ensure a high level of availability and reliability of communication services throughout our country and in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, in particular. 4G launches in the North Yenisei and remote villages of Bolshoy Telek, Mezhovo, Kulun are strategically important. They not only closed the so-called “blank spots” on the map of the region, but also became an important stage for the further construction of the network in our region,” comments Evgeniy Malyushkin, director of the Krasnoyarsk branch of Beeline.
