“During attacks and due to the fact that the networks are now significantly damaged, voltage surges do occur. They occur both up and down, and this can really damage household equipment, which is not very designed to work in such conditions. And fuses can blow, and, in principle, the equipment can deteriorate,” Kharchenko noted.
He explained that any household appliance is at risk: from a refrigerator, washing machine to a kettle.
“The best advice in this case is to have a so-called stabilizer,” the expert advised.
