Krasnoyarsk traffic police officers provided assistance to an elderly driver who lost consciousness. The situation was urgent and could end in tragedy.
It all happened early the day before, when the police were returning home after service in a personal car. Driving along Kopylov Street, they noticed a foreign car driving in reverse. Having caught up with the car, the inspectors saw that a man was driving, who was clearly unwell.
“His body was shaken by convulsions, he was unconscious. A woman sat nearby, desperately trying to bring the man to his senses. Without wasting a second, the traffic police ran out of their car and promptly stopped the moving Hyundai, preventing a possible accident. They then immediately began providing first aid and also called an ambulance. Thanks to the timely arrival of doctors and the professional actions of traffic police officers, the elderly man was provided with the necessary assistance. Now his life is not in danger, he is under medical supervision,” the police said.
