A viral promotion of a fast-food restaurant in Brașov paralyzed pedestrian traffic on a street in the municipality, according to the local publication Transilvania365, which also published images.
The marketing announcement given by a well-known shaormerie in the city below Tâmpa caused a pilgrimage of fast food lovers.
The restaurant promised to offer a free shaorma, between 12:00 and 18:00, to all customers. According to local media, an impressive queue formed starting from the front of the store, mostly young people and teenagers, blocking traffic on the sidewalk and a bus stop.
The authorities did not intervene, but the movement of pedestrians on the sidewalk on Aurel Vlaicu street was seriously hampered during the day, the flow of people increasing during the time interval for which the promotion was announced.
