On a cloudy day, you can safely walk around the area and feed the clematis, and, by the way, the roses won’t hurt either. How to properly support plants when the sky is overcast, so that they gain strength and delight with flowering, said the author of the Zen channel “Yulia Lambotskaya” (12+).
In order for clematis to turn into powerful vines and then all the greenery to be strewn with flowers, it is worth giving them calcium nitrate every year at the end of May. This is a simple fertilizer that works for results: the stems become strong, the leaves are juicy, and the flowering is abundant. The product has been tested for years: plants react quickly and grow literally before our eyes.
It is convenient to fertilize in cloudy weather. Humid air and coolness help the granules gently dissolve and go straight to the roots without the risk of burns and unnecessary hassle.
Place about half a handful around each bush, some less, some more, and be guided by the size of the plant. And that’s all: no complicated scheme, just scattered and forgotten.
When the soil is moist, clematis grow day after day, and after such support they will become even stronger and more resilient.
Then you can give complex fertilizer, but not earlier than after 10–14 days, so as not to overload the roots and allow the plant to calmly absorb the nutrition.
