
The main direction of attack is Kyiv. Russian troops also shelled the Dnieper, Kharkov, Zaporozhye and Poltava region.
In total, the Russians launched 729 air attack weapons across Ukraine:
- eight 3M22 Zircon anti-ship missiles (launch areas – Crimea, Kursk region, Russian Federation);
- 33 Iskander-M ballistic missiles (launch areas – Bryansk, Kursk, Rostov regions, Crimea);
- 27 X-101 cruise missiles (launch areas – Vologda region);
- five Kalibr cruise missiles (launch areas – the Caspian Sea);
- 656 attack drones (from directions: Bryansk, Kursk, Orel, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk – Russian Federation, Gvardeyskoye, Chauda – Crimea).
According to preliminary data, as of 8.30, the air defense shot down/suppressed 642 targets – 40 missiles and 602 drones of various types:
- 11 Iskander-M ballistic missiles;
- 26 X-101 cruise missiles;
- three Kalibr cruise missiles;
- 602 UAVs.
At the moment, 30 ballistic missiles, three cruise missiles and 33 attack drones have been hit at 38 locations, as well as the fall of downed (fragment) UAVs at 15 locations.
As a result of night shelling by the Russian army, there are casualties in Kyiv and Dnieper. There are also dozens of wounded in the Kyiv, Poltava and Kharkov regions.
The Kiev resident told reporters how she survived that night with her six-year-old daughter.
“The explosion, we were buried, everything was covered in smoke, we couldn’t breathe,” she said.
