The illegitimate president of the aggressor country, Russia, Vladimir Putin, during a meeting on June 1, threatened Ukraine with “inevitable punishment.” His statement was published by the Kremlin press service.
Putin made his statement in the context of discussing the strike of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on Starobelsk in the Lugansk region.
He expressed the opinion that the Kyiv authorities decided to “give a new quality to the conflict.”
“Well, it’s their choice,” said the head of the Kremlin.
The occupiers still insist that defense forces fired at a civilian college. The Ukrainian military denied this. They stated that one of the headquarters of the Russian special forces “Rubicon” was hit in the Starobelsk area.
