Krasnoyarsk mothers began receiving the “First Set” upon discharge

In Krasnoyarsk, mothers of newborns began to receive the “First Set” upon discharge from the maternity hospital. This was reported to the city administration.

The first gifts were received by women who celebrated June 1 in Krasnoyarsk maternity hospitals. In total, on Children's Day, the kits were given to almost 200 mothers.

The set includes a bag with everything necessary for the first months of a child's life and a memorable photo frame for taking a picture of the baby. Inside there is a discharge kit with a blanket and undershirts, the first toothbrush, a teether, a sippy cup, a bathing corner and a bib.

Things are packed in a convenient bag or backpack for parents. You can carry bottles and other things there for walks or visits to the pediatrician. The composition of the set was determined together with experienced mothers of Krasnoyarsk. Now such a gift will be given to every Krasnoyarsk resident upon discharge. The initiative is being implemented with the support of the Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, Mikhail Kotyukov.

On Children's Day, the head of Krasnoyarsk Sergei Vereshchagin visited one of the maternity hospitals and congratulated young mothers on the birth of their children. On this day, the Snegirev family with their first-born Alexander also left the maternity hospital.

“A gift for a newborn is a sign of attention and care. This is the first greeting to a new resident of the city. As a father of four children, I am sure that everything in the set will come in handy. I hope that today’s start of this good deed will turn into a good tradition of our Krasnoyarsk, and will become, albeit small, a contribution to supporting motherhood and childhood. I wish health to all babies and mothers,” said Sergei Vereshchagin, the head of Krasnoyarsk.

The tradition of presenting the “Set of the First” will be developed with the support of the Good Krasnoyarsk charitable foundation.
