Police have completed a criminal investigation against a 53-year-old resident of Krasnoyarsk, accused of intentionally causing grievous harm to the health of his 72-year-old mother.
It was established that the man, while at home in a state of alcoholic intoxication, quarreled with a woman and during the conflict inflicted several blows on her body. The next day he left the apartment, and the pensioner closed the door from the inside so that the aggressor could not get back.
“Two days later, a neighbor came to the victim. Having learned about what had happened, she called the police department. The arriving police saw injuries on the woman’s body and called doctors, who hospitalized her. According to the conclusion of the examination, the Krasnoyarsk woman suffered serious harm to her health,” the department said.
The attacker is now in custody. According to Part 1 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation threatens him imprisonment for up to 8 years.
It should be noted that the defendant was previously convicted of property crimes.
