Russian defense systems shot down Ukrainian drones attacking energy and civilian infrastructure in the Volgograd Oblast in Russia, the Interfax news agency reported, citing the oblast's governor, Andrei Bocharov.
The governor announced on social media that, as he emphasized, based on preliminary data, a residential building was hit, but there were no casualties.
There is a large refinery in the Volgograd Oblast managed by the Russian energy company Lukoil.
