A resident of the Mansky district of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, Artem Radkevich, with the call sign “Argun,” volunteered for the special military operation zone in August 2022. His story is given by the Union of Northern Military District Veterans.
Artem was born in the village of Pervomansk, spent his childhood and youth in different parts of the region – he studied at Daurskaya, Ogurskaya and Talovskaya schools. Since childhood, I loved nature and men's work, and my main hobby is still fishing. Before the special operation, he worked in the oil industry: first as a mechanic for a cementing unit, then as a dump truck driver.
In the Northern Military District zone, Private Radkevich showed courage and dedication, for which he was awarded the Order of Courage and the medal “For the Defense of the Kinburn Spit.”
He remembers not only the difficult trials, but also the people nearby: he especially remembers his birthday in 2023, when his comrades warmly congratulated him. He is also grateful to the commander for his advice, which more than once helped save his life.
Now Artem installs elevators and helps the military on the front line.
