A polyglot named what languages a modern person needs to know

Dmitry Petrov, a polyglot and TV presenter who speaks 50 languages, came to Yekaterinburg. He explained which of them a modern person needs to know. His words are quoted by the Ural Meridian news agency.
According to Petrov, anyone who plans to work with languages needs to know at least three. Englishsince it remains a global means of communication – there is no escape from it, as from a world currency. The second one should be European language choice of: German, French, Spanish or Italian. And the third – Asiatic: Chinese, Korean or Turkish.
The polyglot noted that the world is reoriented to the East, so the demand for languages that were previously considered secondary is growing. Will be useful Hindi, Portuguese And Indonesian-Malay. India is no longer positioning itself as an English-speaking country, Portuguese is in demand in the growing economies of Brazil and Angola, and Indonesian-Malay is simple and gaining popularity in Southeast Asia.
