Not waste – but liquid gold: this is what to water pepper seedlings with – the seedlings are well-fed, strong and heroic

Used tea leaves are a valuable ingredient for infusion. It contains organic substances, trace elements, potassium, nitrogen, tannins. Together, they accelerate the growth of seedlings, strengthen the stems and leaves, and heal the root system. The author of the Zen channel “Our Cozy Home” shared the recipe for the infusion.

How to prepare a healthy infusion

Take a glass of used tea leaves and pour 3 liters of boiling water over it. Infuse in a plastic bottle or saucepan with a lid in a warm room for three days.

Strain the infusion to get rid of all the tea leaves, because if they get into the ground, they can cause mold. Water the seedlings with the infusion sparingly: overwatering risks leading to fungal blackleg. The procedure is carried out once.

The tea infusion acts gently and gently. It strengthens the immunity of seedlings, increases resistance to stress and adverse conditions, and normalizes soil balance. The green mass is actively growing, and soon the peppers can be planted in open ground. Adaptation of seedlings to new conditions will be quick and painless.

Tips and nuances

Don’t forget about other rules for caring for seedlings. For example, seedlings need oxygen, moderate humidity and sufficient lighting, but without direct sunlight – the latter will burn them.

Try to avoid sudden temperature changes. Otherwise, the growth of seedlings will stop.

Pepper seedlings do not tolerate drafts, too dry or moist soil.
