Between May 27 and 31, in Suceava, under the shadow of the Chair Fortress built in the 14th century by Petru Mușat and fortified in the 15th century by Ștefan cel Mare, the Junior 3 Final Tournament, children born 2011-2012, will take place in men's handball.
Club Avatar Brașov will go to Suceava with a lot of confidence and hope
“We are a private club established 5 years ago, out of the desire to revive men's handball in Brașov, a city with a tradition in this sport, which in the past even had two teams in the National League (Dinamo Brașov and Tractorul Brașov). I want Brașov to return to the men's handball scene, because we have young athletes with qualities and potential.
I specify that every year AVATAR BRAțOV represented Brașov at the highest level, having qualified teams in the top 8 in the country. The best ranking so far was the 5th place. This year we had two teams entered in the national championship, Juniors 1 and Juniors 3. Juniors 1 stopped in the Semi-Final Tournament, and Juniors 3 continue their journey in the Final Tournament, where the first 8 teams from the country line up”, said Titus Donosa, the head coach of Avatar Brașov.
The 8 participating teams are: CSU SUCEAVA, DINAMO BUCHAREST, POTAISSA TURDA, POLITEHNICA TIMISOARA, LPS SUCEAVA, VIITORUL PITEȘTI, CSS CRAIOVA and AVATAR BRAȘOV.
“This year we aim for the best possible ranking, as it is a generation of great perspective, which I hope will have the chance to play for the seniors, in the city where they grow up and train”, he added the main trainer of the Avatar.
Brașov youngsters will be part of the second group, along with CSS Craiova, LPS Suceava and SCM Politehnica Timișoara.
Come on, Avatar Brașov!
