On the Angara, in the area of the Boguchanskaya hydroelectric power station, the main spring hydrological processes have ended: the ice cover in the water area of the station has completely collapsed, and seasonal changes in the water level continue in the Boguchanskaya reservoir.

According to operational monitoring data, in the past week from May 18 to 24, the average water flow through the hydroelectric units of the Boguchanskaya HPP was about 3,630 cubic meters per second. The station's operating mode is established by the Yenisei Basin Water Management, taking into account the current hydrological situation in the Angara cascade and the need to ensure navigation levels.

According to hydrologists, the lateral inflow into the Boguchanskoe reservoir during the week ranged from 980 to 2000 cubic meters per second. Part of the incoming water is accumulated in the reservoir, the level of which as of May 25 reached 207.84 m above the level of the Baltic Sea.

Hydrologists note that the opening of the Angara this year took place in the active phase and somewhat earlier than the long-term average. The level of the Angara in the downstream of the Boguchanskaya HPP remains around 138.83 m. The hydrological situation remains stable and is under constant monitoring by specialists.

According to weather forecasters, during the last week of May in the area of the Boguchanskaya hydroelectric power station, mostly cloudy weather is expected, with light rain in places. The air temperature during the day will be +11…17, at night – from 0 to +5.
