In the village of Solontsy, Krasnoyarsk Territory, 60 stray dogs were caught, and illegal places for keeping them were dismantled. These results of the work were reported to the regional prosecutor's office.
Let us remind you that in February a pack of stray animals attacked children. The chairman got involved in the problem Investigative Committee Russia Alexander Bastrykin and the mayor of Krasnoyarsk Sergey Vereshchagin. Also, residents at a personal reception complained to the Deputy Prosecutor General of Russia Sergei Zaitsev.
As supervisory authorities found out, the animals accumulated in the village due to the fact that someone had arranged for them to be kept unauthorized on private property. In addition, local authorities had poor oversight of trapping contractors.

As a result, the chief specialist of the department of management, preparation and accounting of external improvement objects of the Krasnoyarsk administration received a disciplinary sanction for lack of proper control. An entrepreneur who was engaged in catching animals was brought to administrative responsibility under an article on non-compliance with requirements for the treatment of stray dogs.
