The Hero festival in the Krasnoyarsk Territory attracted about 13 thousand spectators

The IV International Film Festival for Children and Youth “Hero” has ended in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. About 13 thousand spectators visited it over five days. This was reported on the official portal of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
The screenings took place at 17 venues in Krasnoyarsk, Norilsk, Divnogorsk, Uyar and the village of Kuragino. In total, more than 130 events were organized, including film screenings, creative meetings with representatives of the film industry and master classes. This year the festival program included 109 films from 27 countries. Of these, 59 films were shown for the first time in Russia.
The Grand Prix of the festival was awarded to Svetlana Muzychenko’s film “The Path”. The Belarusian film by Anastasia Mulyarova “Nadya, Forward!” was recognized as the best documentary film. Among feature films, the best feature film was the Brazilian film by Marcelo Galvao “Buddies and the Heir.” “Astronomers” by Dmitry Pasichnyuk was named the best short film. The winners in the animation program were “Heroes of the Arctic” by Alexey Zamyslov and “Son” by Zhanna Bekmambetova. The Audience Award went to Svyatoslav Vlasov’s film “My Grandfather.”
Festival President Vladimir Grammatikov noted that the task of “Hero” is to show that not only a person in war, but also someone who manifests himself in everyday life can be a hero.
“Thanks to the Hero film festival, young viewers were able to see truly kind and inspiring films. The presented paintings not only entertain, they help children find the right guidelines in life,” said Arkady Zinov, the region’s Minister of Culture.
Until June 30, the “ECHO Festival” will be held in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. Selected winning films will be screened free of charge in cinemas across the region.
