The head of Krasnoyarsk, Sergei Vereshchagin, instructed to “strengthen the elimination of road potholes.” He spoke about this in his Telegram channel.
As the mayor explained, city services traditionally carry out this work during the road repair off-season using cast asphalt to ensure traffic safety. The technology allows you to work at low temperatures.
“Since the beginning of the year, potholes have been fixed in 83 areas. For example, in March they have already worked on the streets of Matrosova, Parashutnaya, 40 Let Pobeda, Molodezhny Ave., Yeniseisky Trakt, Northern Highway, Gaidashovka, Kalinin, Elena Stasova, Krasrabe and others. The work is carried out at night so as not to interfere with traffic,” said Sergei Vereshchagin.
As the mayor explained, he himself travels around the city, reads comments from citizens and understands that the volume of work needs to be increased: “The services have taken on this task. We will begin comprehensive road repairs if the weather is favorable.”
