In Yakutsk, a court sentenced two minor girls found guilty of murdering a 40-year-old woman and her 11-year-old son. “KP – Yakutia” writes about this.
The tragedy happened on the evening of October 2, 2025 in an apartment in a building in the 202nd microdistrict of the capital of the republic. As the investigation established, the 16-year-old daughter of the deceased planned reprisals because of her dislike for her mother: the teenager did not like being forced to study, and besides, she was jealous of her younger brother, who, it seemed to her, received more attention. The girl introduced her friend to the plan, and she agreed to help “solve the problem.”
The woman was attacked with a knife and a hammer. At that moment, an 11-year-old boy returned from school, and the girls killed him so as not to leave a witness. The teenager herself called the police the next morning.
The court found both guilty of the murder of two persons, including a minor, committed by a group of people. One girl was sentenced to 9 years in prison, the second – 8 years. They will serve their sentence in a correctional colony, and after 18 years they will be transferred to a general regime adult colony.
In addition, those convicted are required to pay more than 9.2 million rubles to the relatives of the victims. The verdict has not yet entered into legal force.
