Confusion with US troops in Poland. Trump called Hegseth

As two sources told the newspaper, Trump, in a recent telephone conversation with Hegseth, asked him about the reasons for canceling the military mission to Poland. The US president allegedly told the head of the Pentagon that he should not mistreat an ally that has close ties to the White House.
White House spokeswoman Anna Kelly assured WSJ that Donald Trump appreciates Pete Hegseth's actions. In turn, Pentagon spokesman Sean Parnell announced that politicians are in constant contact regarding the movements of American troops in Europe.
Trump sends soldiers to Poland. No details
Trump did not provide details about which units would be sent to Poland or whether they would come from other European countries. He also did not explain whether he planned to restore the previously canceled troop rotation.
One of the solutions considered by the Pentagon is to transfer the 2nd Cavalry Regiment from Vilseck in Germany to Poland. Such a step would allow President Trump to maintain close relations with Warsaw and at the same time implement his announcement to reduce the US military presence in Germany.
