How do Poles perceive first communion? There are results of the CBOS survey

In May, in most Polish parishes, children from the third grades of primary school will join communion for the first time.
CBOS asked Poles, “if you, according to the First Holy Communion, is an important experience for the child.” 79.3 percent answered the affirmative respondents; 13.1 percent it was of the opposite opinion, and 7.6 percent It did not have an opinion on this subject.
To the question, “What is primarily for you (I) in person and the child's Holy Communion?” 62 percent respondents replied that this was an important spiritual event.
