Polish politicians thank Robert Lewandowski. “Legend in Life”

Robert Lewandowski, who will turn 38 in August, announced on Saturday that he would leave Barcelona after the season.
“After four years full of challenges and hard work, it's time for a change. I leave with the feeling that the task has been accomplished. Three championship titles in four seasons. I will never forget the love the fans gave me from the first days. Catalonia is my place on earth,” he said on Instagram.

We remembered our first meeting from years ago and the moment when my band Chemia recorded the song “Cross the Line” for an album for Borussia Dortmund fans. Since then, so many good things have happened. Today, another beautiful moments at Camp Nou, especially important for all Polish fans. Robert went down in history and set an example to his successors that it is possible, that it really is possible. That hard work, determination, luck and once again hard work lead to the very top,” wrote Wojciech Balczun, Minister of State Assets.

The club was in crisis, but the captain of the Polish national team restored it to the glory of one of the best clubs in the world. Poland thanks you and wishes you further success,” PiS vice-president Przemysław Czarnek recalled the Pole's contributions to the Spanish club.
