Lukashenko doesn't want to, but Putin is pressing

The former head of Ukraine's diplomacy notes on his YouTube channel that although the military potential of Belarus cannot be compared to the strength of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the aggressive statements made by the Belarusian dictator should not be underestimated.
“Lukashenko doesn't want to, but Putin is pressing”
— You should not ignore what Alexander Lukashenko says. And he keeps saying that Belarus is preparing for war, says Dmytro Kuleba. In his opinion, this is not “just bravado.” — [Łukaszenko] “He's under pressure: he doesn't want to fight, but Putin wants him to fight,” he says.
According to Kułeba, when it comes to the attack from Belarus Today, there are only two questions: about the direction of the impact and when it will occur. At the same time, as he claims, this can be avoided if something scares Lukashenko so much that he will start twisting like he can again.
The former minister believes that Putin wants to drag Belarus into the war in Ukraine because of its failures on the front. Since the Russian president does not want the war to end, Kuleba explains, he has two options. It's supposed to be the first one an attempt to open a second front, which would force Ukrainians to transfer more experienced combat units from Donbas to the north of the country. The second option would be compensating for the lack of success in the east with an increased attack in the rear.
