Raul Opruț (28 years old), the left defender from Dinamo, extended his contract with the red-white formation.
Opruț, the main man in the last two seasons at Dinamo, still had a contract until 2027. The left defender signed the extension until 2029.

The club posted a short video on social media with the insignia RO2029: the player's initials and the year he signed. An hour later, the club also posted an official statement.
Raul Opruț remains a red dog until 2029! We are happy to announce that Raul has extended his contract with Dinamo until 30.06.2029.
Arriving in the summer of 2024, Raul quickly proved that he is the right man for the left lane, becoming an important player for the team and for the spirit of this club. With 81 matches in the red-white shirt, 7 goals and 3 decisive assists, he won his place in the hearts of Dynamo players through dedication, work and passion.

Raul Opruț signed the extension with Dinamo
Opruț's numbers at Dinamo
Raul Opruț arrived at Dinamo in 2024, when he was loaned from KV Kortrijk, from Belgium. After one season, the “dogs” transferred him permanently in exchange for 200,000 euros.
This season, Opruț started in all 38 matches played by Dinamo in the Superliga. The left back scored 5 goals and provided two assists. Raul also played 5 games in the Romanian Betano Cup, a competition in which Dinamo reached the semifinals.
Listed at 1.7 million euros on Transfermarkt, Raul Opruț also played for LPS Banatul, Chievo U19, Genoa U19, Abissola, Hermannstadt and KV Kortrijk.
He reached 81 games in Dinamo's jersey in the two seasons he spent in the “pack”, but he has the most matches in Hermannstadt, for which he played 158 times.
Opruț also has 5 matches for the national team of Romania, the last one in October 2025, in the friendly with Moldova.
