A Russian diplomat and his wife were beaten by taxi drivers in Morocco. Against the backdrop of rumors that the Russian Federation is allegedly trying to disrupt the 2030 FIFA World Cup in the country.
It all happened near a hotel in Casablanca. A group of bombers offered their services, and then saw that the couple was waiting for a driver working through InDrive – because of this, they began to charge. Then the men heard through the dialect that the couple was from Russia and attacked.
When the taxi driver of the Cypriot company Suol Innovations LTD arrived, he was also beaten. Hotel staff then ran out and chased away the angry crowd. Soon the police and ambulance arrived at the scene – the victims were taken to a private clinic, and the city was put on maximum alert. Law enforcement officers found and detained the attackers.
