Let us remind you that the schedule for shutting down the thermal power plant for hydraulic tests was published by SGK the day before. The first shutdown of hot water was announced from May 18 to 28 for the Oktyabrsky, Zheleznodorozhny, Tsentralny districts and most of Sverdlovsk. But due to the cool weather forecast for this period,The townspeople inundated the mayor and power engineers with demands to revise the dates, they asked to wait at least the end of the school year and the beginning of school holidays, fearing that children will end up on sick leave instead of graduation.

In response, Sergei Vereshchagin promised that the shutdown of hot water in the houses served by CHPP-2 will happen later:

“I see your requests to postpone hot water shutdowns from May 18 to a later date… It’s still cool outside now, and turning off hot water at the same time as heating is turned off will cause discomfort. SGC also records such signals from residents. I talked with the company management and made a joint decision to postpone the shutdown of CHPP-2 for hydraulic tests. The schedule is now being adjusted. It will be published soon.”

Let us remind you that for houses powered by CHPP-1, hot water is planned to be turned off from June 15 to 24, CHPP-3 – from July 12 to 22, in Solnechny – from May 25 to June 4.
