In the newspaper “Birobidzhan Star” (12+) for May 8, 2002, in the note by V. Antonov, “The Museum of Glory was opened to Victory Day” reports the opening of a new museum in Birobidzhan – military and labor glory of the Jewish Autonomous Region. The initiator of the opening of such a museum was a participant in the Great Patriotic War, a famous journalist and local historian Efim Iosifovich Kudish.

The museum has unique exhibits, one of them is the preserved genuine photo of the Hero of the Soviet Union I. R. Pupyugin.

Separate stands of the museum are dedicated to the only workers of the rear, our fellow countrymen-gardeners of rare orders. 30 % of the museum exhibits are objects of the personal archive of E. I. Kudish.
