The national messenger “Max” began testing live broadcasts in channels. In the near future, the function will become available to authors with an audience of more than 10 thousand subscribers.
Broadcasts will work through integration with the VK Video platform. To start broadcasting, the author will need to add a special bot for broadcasting to the channel administrators. After this, in the bot you need to select the start of the broadcast and the channel, insert the link to the broadcast from VK Video, and then publish or schedule a post.
Subscribers will receive a notification when the broadcast begins. A special icon will also appear next to the channel avatar in the list of chats. You can join the broadcast through the “Open” button in the channel.
Max allows users to exchange messages, use voice communications, make payments, receive electronic government services and confirm their identity using a digital ID. The application is included in the register of Russian software. As of the end of April, the number of public and private channels in Max exceeded 7 million, and their total audience reached 300 million.
Earlier it became known that the Max application disappeared from the App Store.
