The truce was announced on Saturday by US President Donald Trump. During it, Russia and Ukraine accused each other of numerous violations.
The Ukrainian army confirmed overnight drone attacks targeting Kiev and other cities – Zaporozhye, Dnipro, Kharkiv and Kherson. Damage was reported in the Sumy Oblast in the north and Mykolaiv Oblast in the south of the country.

The head of Kyiv's military administration, Tymur Tkachenko, reported on Telegram that the remains of one of the drones fell on the roof of a 20-story residential building in the capital. The authorities did not report any casualties or the scale of destruction.
During the ongoing alarm, the head of the administration appealed to residents: “Enemy drones are currently over Kiev. Please stay at home until the alarm is lifted,” Tkachenko wrote on Telegram.

This is the first air alert announced over the capital of Ukraine since May 8.
