The incident happened during a training activity at an airfield in the area, where several trainees performed jumps from the plane.
Shortly after detaching, one of the paratroopers noticed that the main parachute was not deploying.
In an extreme situation, at very low altitude, he managed to activate the backup system, avoiding a possible tragedy. The reserve parachute opened in time, just before impact with the ground, according to Digi 24.
