In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, police detained two brothers involved in setting fire to dry grass in the village of Dubinino.
The grass was burning on the territory of the dacha cooperative. The fire area was more than 50 square meters. Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire and there were no injuries.
“The police identified those involved in the arson: they turned out to be two brothers, 8 and 10 years old. The minors explained that they set the grass on fire for fun, and when they couldn’t put out the fire on their own, they ran to tell their mother, who called the firefighters.», — the press service said.
The police conducted an investigation, the materials of which will be sent to the fire service. Also, the actions of schoolchildren will be considered by the commission on juvenile affairs.
Police officers urge citizens to talk to their children about the inadmissibility of playing with fire. A child's prank can turn into a tragedy in which minors themselves may suffer.
