❗️Will Ukrainians be sent home? The EU is preparing to end the temporary protection of Ukrainian refugees.
Its term is valid until
March 4, 2027. Today, the framework for the gradual withdrawal from the regime of temporary protection was agreed:
▪️Instead of temporary protection, Ukrainians will be offered residence permits (work, study).
▪️It will be possible to submit applications for protection to highly qualified workers.
▪️Countries will develop programs for voluntary return to Ukraine.
The EU has already started preparing for the day when Ukrainians will be able to return home and join the country's recovery.
