Specialists from the Krasnoyarsk Rospotrebnadzor gave advice to summer residents that will help them open the season with pleasure and without harm to health.

Start with easy tasks, alternate them with rest,” the department said.
It is better to work in the beds while sittingusing a low bench or stool. If you still have to bend down often, you need to squat down, and not bend on straight legs. Doctors note that the well-known “gardener’s pose” is a direct path to health problems: it is fraught with pain in the lumbar region, exacerbation of varicose veins of the legs, thrombophlebitis, and the danger of stroke (it is not for nothing that it has a pronounced “seasonality” that coincides with the beginning of summer cottage work).
Move weights It is recommended to use a cart or garden wheelbarrow. Buckets and watering cans should not be filled to the brim; half is enough. You also need to lift correctly: squatting and keeping your back straight – it’s safer.
Spend time in the sun and relax summer residents are also called upon wisely.
“Relaxing after work with the help of alcohol is very dangerous: vasospasm and increased blood pressure can lead to stroke and heart attack. The best alternative is herbal tea, fresh fruit juice or just clean water, says Rospotrebnadzor. – Avoid open sun, even in May it is insidious – 30 minutes is enough to get a burn. Start with 10-minute sunbathing, increasing the time day by day. Sunscreen will also come in handy. During hours of high solar activity (from 12:00 to 16:00), you need to work in light-colored clothing with long sleeves and a hat. And for hypertensive patients, work and prolonged exposure to the sun are especially dangerous.”
