A fighter from Krasnoyarsk, Elisey Obedin, shared how free help from a psychologist helped him return to peaceful life.

After being seriously wounded, the commander of the assault platoon underwent a course of psychological rehabilitation with the support of the Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation. He worked with a clinical psychologist, and then studied under the program of the Center for Emergency Psychological Assistance of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia.

“After the explosions, I received a microconcussion, due to which I could not sleep for five days. But all this is being worked out with a psychologist. For those fighters who have encountered such problems, I I recommended going and getting a consultation. Maybe he got a lot of stress. The doctor will definitely help,” the fighter said.

The Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation noted that after returning from the front, adaptation to civilian life requires no less strength than service. The help of specialists, loved ones and society plays a vital role in this process.
