Mexican authorities later this year seized a collection of motorcycles believed to belong to Salt Lake City (2002) Winter Olympic competitor Ryan Wedding, who was on the 10 most wanted fugitives list.
Ryan Wedding, a former Canadian snowboarder, is wanted by the FBI for drug trafficking and orchestrating several murders. Nicknamed “El Jefe”, “The Giant” or “Public Enemy”, he was accused of plotting the murder of a Colombian witness and became the 535th criminal included on the list of 10 most wanted fugitives.

In early December, the FBI released a photo of Wedding, who is suspected of hiding in Mexico under the protection of the Sinaloa cartel. The FBI is offering a $15 million reward for any information that will lead to the arrest and/or conviction of the leader of the international drug trafficking ring.
According to an FBI social media post, Mexican authorities have seized an impressive collection of motorcycles believed to belong to Wedding. The value of the seized motorcycles is around $40 million and, according to L'Equipe, the collection includes models that belonged to MotoGP legends Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo.
The Mexican authorities, the FBI, the Los Angeles Police Department and the Canadian Police collaborated in this operation.
The former Canadian Olympic athlete was also sentenced to prison in 2010 and accused of drug trafficking in 2015.
Wedding has gone from shredding dust on the slopes at the Olympics to distributing cocaine powder on the streets of American cities and in his native Canada. The alleged murders of his rivals make Wedding a very dangerous man, and his addition to the 10 Most Wanted Fugitives list, along with a major reward from the State Department, will make the public our partner so we can meet him before he puts anyone else in danger
