New Year holidays in Russia in 2027 will last 11 days – from December 31, 2026 to January 10, 2027, the Ministry of Labor reports.
Taking into account the transfer of holidays in 2027, the following rest periods are provided: from December 31, 2026 to January 10, 2027, from February 21 to 23, from March 6 to 8. The May holidays will last from May 1 to 3 and from May 8 to 10. There will also be holidays from June 12 to 14, November 4 to 7, and December 31, 2027.
As a result of the transfer of weekends and working days in 2027, Russians will have one six-day working week (in February), two three-day ones (in February and November), and five four-day ones (in March, June, December, and two in May).
“The Russian government annually postpones days off that fall on holidays in order to optimally distribute work and rest time. Where possible, holidays and weekends are combined. In 2027, thanks to this transfer, there will be 3-day weekends five times: in February, March, twice in May and June. There will also be a four-day weekend – from November 4 to 7. And the New Year holidays next year will last 11 days,” said Russian Minister of Labor and Social Protection Anton Kotyakov.
