Light plane crashes in Texas, killing five people


A small Cessna 421C light aircraft crashed into trees between Austin and San Antonio, Texas, USA, killing all five people on board. Local authorities reported this on May 1, writes AP.

The accident occurred around 11:00 pm on April 30, approximately 65 km from the state capital of Austin.

The pilot and four passengers died as a result of the crash.

The identities of the victims have not been made public at this time.

According to the agency, the plane was flying from Amarillo to New Braunfels National Airport when it disappeared from radar approximately two hours after takeoff.

What could have caused the plane crash is currently unknown. AP notes that there was low visibility in the area of ​​the crash due to cloudy weather.
