Volunteers of Transneft Western Siberia JSC donated over 50 liters of blood as part of a corporate donor campaign

Employees of Transneft Western Siberia JSC (a subsidiary of Transneft PJSC) took part in the Give Life corporate donor campaign. The event was timed to coincide with National Donor Day and the 100th anniversary of the Russian Blood Service.

The donation brought together 115 employees of the enterprise from five regions of Siberia – Tyumen, Tomsk, Novosibirsk, Kemerovo regions and Krasnoyarsk Territory. Volunteers donated about 52 liters of blood and its components – they will be sent to medical institutions to provide assistance to patients in need, including children and participants in a special military operation.

Some volunteers also joined the bone marrow donor registry. This area of ​​the donor movement is now one of the most in demand in the healthcare sector.

As a result of the event, the Krasnoyarsk Regional Oil Pipeline Department of Transneft Western Siberia JSC was awarded a letter of gratitude from the Krasnoyarsk Regional Blood Center No. 1 for the active development of corporate donation and promotion of free blood donation among the population.

Volunteer events to donate blood and its components have been held at Transneft Western Siberia JSC regularly since 2021. Over five years, more than 800 employees took part in them, among whom there were honorary donors of Russia.
